Foreign entrepreneurs who wish to launch or develop their startups in France.
To qualify, you need one year’s minimum wage and official admission to an incubator eligible for the French Tech Visa.

You need official admission to one of the incubators such as Schoolab, accelerators or other partners of the French Tech visa, through their own regular selection processes.

Step 2

After checking the eligibility criteria, you can directly complete this online form to request a certificate certifying the innovative nature of your start-up. Keep it safe, you will need it for the third step.

Step 3

With the certificate you can apply for a long-stay Visa and residence permit. The procedure depends on whether or not you already live in France (see below). In either case, you will need to provide several documents as part of your application.

Step 3a

At the Embassy or Consulate closest to your official residence, apply for a long-stay visa no earlier than 3 months before the date of your arrival in France. This visa, granted at the consulate and attached to your passport, grants you entry.

Step 3b

Once in France, you will present your long-stay visa at your local préfecture (French government administrative office) which will then issue your residence permit allowing you to live and work in France for 4 years, renewable.

If you already live in France under a different type of residence permit:

Simply apply at the Préfecture in your place of residence for a change of status. This procedure will convert your previous residence permit into a “Passeport Talent” residence permit, allowing you to live and work in France for 4 years.

You must apply for the change of status two months before the previous residence permit expires. You must meet the same eligibility criteria for the “passeport talent” (talent passport) as founders applying from outside France.

Project type : marketplace, agency or e-commerce.
Basically everything that is not innovative. If the startup you are founding in France already exists here, you have to find an innovation (process, material, social etc).

Projects that are meant for another market than the french one.

People from Algeria

– There is another process for Algerian people [here]
– First, you need to get a short term visa (< 3 months)
– Then get the “ Profession non salariée” visa once in France
– Register your company

Basically, we can help you to get the letter proving the existence of an innovative economic project. But how ?

– Help you find the innovation part of your project
– Review your file before sending it
– Giving you the letter of acceptance in the incubator
– Giving you the letter of support

  • We can’t guarantee that you will get the visa for sure. The criteria of acceptance and delivery of the visa doesn’t depend on us.
  • We can’t do the process for you and write your file
  • We can’t call someone at the french administration to accelerate the process.
